Dominick "Dom" DeLuise (August 1, 1933 - May 4, 2009) was an American actor who has starred in numerous roles, mostly comedic. He starred in many comedic films including: Blazing Saddles (1974), Silent Movie (1976), Cannonball Run (1981), & History of the World: Part 1 (1981). He also did voicework in a number of animated movies including: The Secret of Nimh (1982), An American Tail (1986) (as the voice of Tiger), Oliver & Company (1988), & All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989). He also provided the voice of Pizza the Hutt in the movie Spaceballs (1987).
