Heathcliff is a comic book, started by George Gately in 1973, and cartoon series, beginning in 1980, about a cat named Heathcliff who goes around playing pranks on the neighborhood. He bullies a dog named Spike. He eats out of trash cans and spills the contents. He steals fishes from stores. He frequently trips the milkman and drinks the spilled milk. He is not even nice to his owner, but he is nice to his grandpa and his roommate.
