I've been wondering something lately. Is this character intended to be anti-Christian or not? I'm a Christian and I've watched Robot Chicken for years and this character has never bothered me at all. I would definitely say that he is portrayed in a somewhat more respectful light than he is on other shows (the Family Guy Jesus for example). They never have outright mocked him or portrayed him as a fictional character like they do all the time on other adult shows which makes this one seem a bit more Christian friendly than Family Guy or even shows like Simpsons & South Park. But then when they start making fun of his Crucifixion, that makes me a bit disturbed. Those scenes are the only reason I'm torn on this subject because unlike similar series, Robot Chicken isn't made from an atheist perspective. But portraying Jesus's death in a comedic light feels almost hateful in a way. I don't know whether they mean it like that or not, they're probably just playing around and have no bad intentions with those skits but I'm just wondering whether you think this series intended to be anti-Christian or not. Like I said, for the most part I feel a lot more comfortable watching this series than Family Guy or American Dad as a Christian, but the Crucifixion jokes do have a tendency to get under my skin a bit.
