[Big Bird is walking down the street, holding his stomach and looking pale.]
Big Bird: Ugh, I feel like I'm gonna blow chunks of bird seed!
[Big Bird vomits all over the main apartment steps, and then collapses; a second later, Elmo appears.]
Elmo: Oh, no! Big Bird has the bird flu! [Grover shows up]
Grover: The word of today is: "quarantine".
[As the white word "Quarantine" shows up (and Grover spells it, changing the letters to yellow), several quarantining doctors block off the place where Big Bird vomited and take Elmo off-screen to safety.]
Grover: Q-U-A-R-A-N-T-I-N-E: "quarantine".
[The next shot is of Big Bird is lying in bed in a quarantining medical room and hooked to a heart rate monitor, and doctors are examining him.]
Big Bird: Snuffleupagus, is that you?
Doctor: Oh, he must be hallucinating. [they walk away, and Snuffy shows up]
Snuffy: Hi, Bird. I'm so sorry you're sick.
Big Bird: I'm scared, Snuffy. Thank God you can't get it since you're not real.
[Big Bird then flatlines, and dies.]
Snuffy: Yeah. Thank, G-
[Snuffy chokes, dies, and vanishes in a cloud of dust. We then cut to Count von Count giving vaccines to Ernie, Bert, and Cookie Monster.]
Count von Count: One vaccine, ah-ah-ah! Two vaccines, ah-ah-ah!
[Cookie Monster eats his own vaccine, and we cut to a separate bit with three dancing kids and one dead kid.]
Kids: (singing) One of these kids is not like the others, one of these kids is dead!
[The final shot pans up to the quarantine-taped Sesame Street sign.]
Announcer: Today's episode brought to you by the letters CDC.
[We conclude with static as always.]
