Tricks the Rabbit, more commonly known as the Trix Rabbit, is the mascot of Trix, a cereal invented by General Mills in August 1967. In the commercials it usually featured Tricks having a craving for the flavors of the cereal; he would keep trying to trick kids into giving him a bowl of Trix cereal, but he would be discovered every time, and the kids would say "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids." After the success of the first commercial, the Trix brand soon became one of General Mills' best sellers. That soon led to a yogurt with the same theme.
