Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is a 1971 movie starring the late Gene Wilder, based off the children's chapter book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The film tells the story of Charlie Bucket, a boy belonging to a poor family, as he receives a Golden Ticket from a Wonka candy bar, and gets the chance to visit Willy Wonka's chocolate factory with four other children from around the world.
There is a Tim Burton version of the film called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that was released in 2005.
